Two new templates have been published on our industry website: the “Annual review — self-assessment questionnaire” (SAQ) and the ‘’Verification Guidelines for the SMR annual review’’. Both documents are used in the brand owner annual review process for TCO Certified, generation 10.
What’s new?
The ‘’Verification Guidelines for the SMR annual review’’ is a new document created to support verifiers and brand owners in evaluating performance against the Green and Green plus benchmark levels. The guidelines outline the minimum required documentation for each benchmark, to ensure a more objective and consistent assessment across different service providers conducting the review.
Transition note:
Ongoing reviews already booked and planned for using the self-assessment questionnaire for TCO Certified, generation 9 may continue as planned. For new review bookings, brand owners will need to begin using the new documents.
